Experimental physicist and instructor with hands on experience in the following areas:
Nano-optics/photonics, Nano-imaging, nano-spectroscopy
Study the light-matter interaction in low dimensional systems at nano-scale using Scattering type Near-field Optical Microscopy (SNOM), nano-FTIR, Tip-enhanced Raman/PL spectroscopy.
2D materials
Investigate surface plasmonic/polaritonic properties of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC), graphene, boron nitride, black phosphorus etc.
Group-III nitrides
Experienced in growth of III-nitrides using high-pressure chemical vapor deposition (HP-CVD), characterization of nitride thin films using raman, photoluminiscense (PL), FTIR, XRD and SNOM techniques techniques.
